It’s that time, folks. We’ve shut down our computers, unplugged our printers, and lowered the heat in the building to a temperature just north of bitter cold. The broken candy canes and half-eaten crullers that survived the initial holiday onslaught have been tossed out, along with everything in the fridge with a looming “use-by” date. The doors to the building have been locked and bolted and it’s now official:

UCLA Extension is closed until Wednesday, January 2, 2013.

In the meantime, we recommend that you keep this UCLA Extension URL handy — uclaextension.edu — because it’s the next best thing to us being here. You’ll be able to browse course listings using a pdf of the winter catalog (Writers’ Program courses begin on p. 127), and you’ll also be able to register for winter courses during our absence.

Have questions? You can probably find answers by digging deeper into the pages of this site. The menu items on the left hand side of this page can take you to bios, statements, and photos of our instructors, supply you with details of the programs and services we offer, and provide answers to all your FAQ’s.

Thinking about enrolling in the February Writers Studio? You can get more info here.

If all else fails, we’ll be back in the office bright and early on Wednesday, January 2, to answer your questions and help you get enrolled before winter courses begin on January 7.

Wishing you a happy holiday season filled with family, food, festivities, and fun. And whatever you do, don’t forget to write.

Best Regards,

The Writers’ Program Staff
