Online courses offer students the opportunity to take classes anywhere and at anytime. Students simply need a PC or Apple computer with reliable internet access to participate in our online courses on Blackboard. Many students benefit from the flexibility that online courses provide and enjoy the opportunity to connect with fellow writers from around the world.
The Writers’ Program offers more than 175 beginning to advanced-level courses in fiction, creative nonfiction, poetry, writing for the youth market, feature film writing and television writing. Courses are typically 10-weeks long, though some 6-week and 12-week options are available. Instructors check in at least once every 48 hours and discussions are usually ongoing throughout the week.
