Almost 10 years ago Writers’ Program instructor Ken Rosen began a film project that is finally making its way into the world. The trailer for Cuba Libre, a film which documents U.S. economic blockade and its affect on the people of Cuba, is now available at www.cubalibrethemovie.com.

Filmed on location in Cuba from 1998 to the present, Cuba Libre follows the lives of four Cuban citizens, checking in on them every few years. Ken has over 70 hours of footage, including 20 hours of original music and dance captured during the African-Caribbean Music Festival.

Ken will teach the exciting new one-day screenwriting course Adapt This! The Ins and Outs of Adapting Screenplays on March 15.

Best wishes on the film’s release!
