Polly Grose, a former Writers’ Program Studio student has some wonderful news: a published memoir!

Inspired by her husband’s Victorian scrapbooks, Polly’s memoir, A London Scrapbook, was released by Beaver’s Pond Press.

Polly has taken a variety of Writers’ Program courses in nonfiction. She says of her instructors, “Amy Friedman guided me through three years of teaching, critiquing, and editing. I am ever grateful for her enthusiastic support and expertise. Along the way I took a weekend memoir course from Sam Dunn–a richly packed Writers Studio.” She also adds, “I value my writer’s association with UCLA Extension. The Extension courses and Writers Studio provide vital stimulus and practical tools.”

Polly will be signing her memoir at Village Books in Pacific Palisades on October 2nd at 7:00pm.
