Writers’ Program student Tanya Muzumdar has published three poems, which she wrote in her Writers’ Program courses, in the literary journals Dunes Review, Storm Cellar, and Gigantic Sequins. Tanya studied poetry online with Anna Maria Hong and is now on her way to an MFA in poetry at Pacific University. Along with dozens of others, she is proof that Writers’ Program classes can be an excellent springboard to an MFA program. “Anna Maria Hong exposed me to the diversity of the poetry genre and provided a very supportive, constructive workshop environment,” says Tanya. “The course work was a solid preparation for the rigors of my MFA program.”

Congratulations, Tanya!
