Writers’ Program student Darryl Webster, who we’ve featured before here and here, has just published his first book, Pride in Travel: A Title-Winning Season Exploring the World of Manchester City (Pitch Publishing). The book is based on Darryl’s own experience travelling over 40,000 miles to visit Manchester City supporters’ clubs all over the world.

Darryl says his Writers’ Program experience gave him direction when it was most needed. “I entered the Writers’ Program as I suspect many of my fellow students do—at a crossroads. I left the program feeling motivated, with a clear goal and armed with a new skill set that was nothing short of life-changing. Norman Kolpas and Quinton Peeples were two instructors I will never forget and to whom I truly believe I owe my new career.”

Congratulations, Darryl!
