Support your fellow aspiring writers as they read from their Works-in-Progress!

On Friday, March 13, 2015, eight talented students from the Writers’ Program Master Class will be reading from their works-in-progress at Barnes & Noble Santa Monica. Located in the Third Street Promenade, one of L.A.’s most popular gathering places, the reading will also showcase Master Class instructor and bestselling author Lynn Hightower, who will read from her latest book, Even in Darkness.

The reading is one of the highlights of the Master Class, a unique and rigorous online/low-residency program. Designed for writers who are serious about getting published, the Master Class combines a 30-week online program that consists of an intensive one-on-one mentorship and helpful peer critiques, with a 4-day residency in Los Angeles that allows students to meet in person and deepens their sense of community through workshops, seminars, guest speakers and of course, the reading at Barnes & Noble.

The reading is not only a great way for Master Class students to share their talents, but it also provides a way for family, friends, and others to show their support for both the Master Class and the Writers’ Program. Because the reading is a Barnes & Noble Bookfair event, the Program receives a percentage of any net sales that reference Bookfair ID# 11556396 between 3/13 and 3/17, either in store or online at BN.com/bookfairs.

Now that you know all about this wonderful event, we invite you to join Master Class instructor Lynn Hightower and the UCLA Extension Writers’ Program Master Class students on March 13th, 2015 at Barnes & Noble Santa Monica.
