Former student Philip DiGiacomo recently had his story “The Girl at the Door” published in
The Examined Life Journal from the University Of Iowa Carver College Of Medicine. This is his sixth published story in the past three years.
Of his experience in the Writers’ Program, he says that he is “living proof that an old dog can learn new tricks. Without the wisdom imparted by instructors Colette Sartor and Lou Mathews, this dog would still be chasing cars on PCH and napping in the shade. Their hard work helps make the Writers’ Program such a remarkable place for any writer to thrive.”
Congratulations, Philip! If you have a success story, we want to hear about it! Click here.
