Writers’ Program Instructor (and Program Director) Charles Jensen recently published a new poetry book, Nanopedia, through Tinderbox Editions. He says, “My second collection of prose poems, Nanopedia, is the world’s smallest encyclopedia of American culture. Each poem is titled with a word or phrase coined or corrupted by America, from ‘Frenemies’ to ‘Unfriending’ and ‘Fast Food’ to ‘Online Dating.’”

Of his experience teaching in the Writers’ program, Charles says, “The students I’ve had the pleasure of working with in the Writers’ Program are so sharp and innovative! I loved hearing their responses to the poems and essays we ready by published writers in the class, but I loved even more seeing them experiment and push themselves to try new things.”

Congratulations, Charles! If you have a success story, we want to hear about it! Click here.
