Creative writing instructor Cole Kazdin recently had a new book published. Cole says, “What’s Eating Us: Women, Food, and the Epidemic of Body Anxiety is part personal, part investigative reporting on the eating disorder crisis in the US. I weave my own story with those of women I interviewed all over the country as well as leading researchers in the field.”
Of her time teaching with us she says, “Teaching with UCLA Extension Writers’ Program is definitely a highlight of my professional life. I’m always so impressed with the students – not only their talent but tenacity and real passion for the stories they want to tell. I always love returning to the classroom and working with writers on whatever obstacles they are having with their writing and together, with humor and work, getting to the other side.”
Congratulations, Cole! If you have a success story, we want to hear about it! Click here.
