I’ve been lucky to collaborate with students from Watts to Florida to outer-borough London, helping them to hone their voices and giving them tools to put their passion on the page. It’s a creative industry: both parts of the phrase are equally important. The creative part is the stories you need to tell, the characters that will hopefully become part of people’s lives. But it’s about more than just finding your voice; it’s about learning how to use it. It is, after all, an industry, and that’s where we’ll do the work: get the mechanics down so you can build a vessel for your passion. It’s about learning the possibilities of the craft, not the limitations. We’ll show you the map – the journey is yours.
