Brian Hill, who completed his Online Certificate in Feature Film Writing in 2007, placed as a Semifinalist in the 2008 Scriptapalooza Competition for his screenplay Dog Magic.

Brian began writing Dog Magic in Scott Myers‘ Intermediate Feature Film Writing course, and has this to say about his experience in the Writers’ Program: “All six UCLA Extension courses were terrific, both from the learning content and the encouragement we received, with uniformly excellent instructors. And I’ve seen tangible results of how beneficial the courses were: the four scripts I worked on in the Certificate program have all reached at least the semifinals of competitions, including Finalist in the 2006 FilmMakers International Screenwriting Awards. I look forward to taking more courses in 2009.”

Congratulations Brian. We look forward to seeing what you do next!
