Elizabeth Kuelbs, who completed our Certificate in Creative Writing program (and who we’ve featured in Success Stories previously) has been accepted to a top low-residency MFA program at Vermont College. Many of our students choose to go the low-residency route because it allows them to fulfill their work and personal responsibilities while pursuing an MFA.
“Thanks to the Writers’ Program, I’ve improved my craft, published short fiction, and made treasured friends. It’s been a joy to learn from exceptional, generous instructors like David Borofka and Alyx Dellamonica, who are as passionate about teaching as they are about writing. Inspired by their examples, I’ve decided to continue my studies. I’m excited to pack my UCLA Extension Writers’ Program toolkit off to Vermont this summer, though I’m sure I’ll be back for a class now and then!”
Congratulations, Elizabeth. We can’t wait to see where you go from here!
