Student Joshua Staman, a 2013-2014 Writers’ Program scholarship recipient, has made it to the second round of the highly competitive Sundance Screenwriters Lab with two of his scripts, Girl/Friend and The Funeral Girl. If selected, Joshua will spend five days at the Lab working with established writers. “The draft of Girl/Friend that I submitted was workshopped with Beverly Gray in Advanced Workshop: 1-on-1 Feature Film Rewrite (Online),” says Joshua, who credits the Writers’ Program with setting him on a path towards success. “This is a class that I was able to take thanks to a Writers’ Program Scholarship.”

Congratulations, Joshua! Keep us posted!
