Brenda Rezvan, a graduate of the Certificate Program in Feature Film Writing, was selected as a finalist in the Virginia Screenwriting Competition for her screenplay CH4. Brenda developed the script, about a small town man who tangles with Big Oil, in her WP classes. “I followed the Writers’ Program recommendations by taking Writing The First Screenplay I-IV with Claudia Grazioso, Steven Schwartz, and Andrew Osborne, with the addition of the Advanced Rewriting Workshop taught by Beverly Gray and Finding the Story in True Stories taught by Erik Bork. All of the instructors–all of them–were very thorough and very helpful. The Writers’ Program was a great way to start my new career.”

Congratulations, Brenda!
