Former student Lauren Childs recently had an essay published in Entropy. She says of the experience, “Having an essay published in Entropy has been an exciting step in my creative process. I continue to see how when my writing first finds resonance within myself, it’s likely to delight at least one other reader, and that connection feels like the greater purpose.”
Of her time in the Writers’ Program, Lauren says, “I explored both nonfiction and fiction courses through the Writers’ Program, which expanded my perspective on my writing, and the creative process itself. It was in Colette Sartor’s weekend workshop, How to Submit to Literary Magazines, that I found the resources and final ounce of confidence to submit, submit, submit.”
