Sofia Dillenberger
Former Screenwriting: Film and TV Comprehensive Certificate student Sofia Dillenberger has been experiencing success on the festival circuit. In her own words, “(I) went through the festival circus for the first time this year. My Pilot, “Sincerely, Ida” was a second-rounder at the Launch Pad Pilot Competition, reached the Quarterfinals at the ScreenCraft Comedy Competition and was a Semifinalist at the ScreenCraft Screenwriting Fellowship.”
Of her time in the Writers’ Program Sofia wrote, “One Hour TV III & IV helped me find a better understanding of structure, character work and attention to detail. Throughout the class I also found my own voice. I went in as a drama writer but quickly discovered my love for dark comedy and switched my focus to writing quirky Half-Hours.”
