Instructor Statement:
I’ve been a professional writer since the age of 14, starting at a local newspaper, mixing in magazine journalism, books (both fiction and non-fiction) and ultimately into my career as a screenwriter. The diverse writing background allows me to write film and television that varies from action genre all the way to musicals, so no matter what your area of interest we’ll share some common ground. Of course, there is no secret sauce or magic trick, but I will present techniques and practical pathways aimed to take you from wanting to ‘be’ a writer to actually…writing. If you can dream it, you can do it. But ‘doing it’ requires process. Hopefully that’s where I come in. The dream is all yours.
